Finding success quickly with Minecraft Education in the classroom can be challenging. Here are some useful seeds for busy teachers. Just enter these codes in the SEED field when creating a world.Success Pack Seeds #1
I understand. The teachers are very busy, and unless you're a Minecraft map master (which I'm not), it can be difficult to achieve a fun scene in Minecraft that will take your lessons to the next level. Do you like the idea of having a nearby village where students spawn? How about 5 villages or even 8 villages? Do you like the idea of a red earth Mars-like terrain? A village floating in the sea? snow villages? (You get the point) My mission here is to highlight some powerful Minecraft World Seeds that could work with Minecraft Education Edition and the Minecraft Pocket Edition app in the classroom. Here are the first 12 worlds with some Kickstarter suggestions on how to use them. I'll leave the creativity to you, but if you can think of a cool way to use one of these in class, let us know on Twitter using the hashtag #MinecraftEDU. Seed of Success 8 is my favorite!

Seed of Success 1: 1413755523
Cities and countries of the future could exist in water, which occupies more than 70% of the earth's surface. Let's prepare our students and let them lead. Or just re-enact the absolutely awful movie WaterWorld. (only opinion, but very accurate)
Seed of Success 2: 1388582293
Let students try their hand at engineering and town planning, or take a look at early riverside settlements. There's a good chance you'll see a city that developed near a river. A great opportunity to talk about floods or make them happen and feel their effects!
Seed of Success 3: 1246234697
Two very different biomes. The hardest with protection and the other with wood and water. Can free trade exist? It should? Will it be? Let your kids figure it out by adding some border blocks and encouraging them to close deals. How much are these resources worth? Is it more than your students initially thought? Have a good time!
Seed of Success 4: 1388582293
Many smaller cities around the world exist with a tri-community environment. In fact, larger cities spend decades trying to shake up the idea of different communities after they're formed, and some never made it. Discover how a tri-community can be governed. Look at real estate values and force some students to move to another community to work and experience what it's like. Conducting competitions, including urban planning tasks. Three villages next to each other! increase in value!
Seed of Success 5: 343145341
Three northern villages allow students to experience the settlement of the north. Can they find Santa's hideout? Explore how early settlers to the north and east dealt with the snowy biomes, and see the stark differences in the biomes that are close together!
Seed of Success 6: 1408803813
A glorious snow experience that's really cool for Syrian students or any student who hasn't experienced the joy of a snow storm. Enjoy Christmas, talk about blizzard survival and discover all that winter has to offer in this world with a few villages on the edge of the biome.
Seed of Success 7: -3022154238038518696
A central city on a river provides a great starting point for expanding into the vast countryside across the river. Each student has ample space to design their own river bridge projects or work together to transform the landscape into something that helps the city. With massive mountains upstream and a river that seems endless, students will not get lost or bored exploring this geographic area.
Seed of Success 8: -9065479248748140566
Grab your banners and rock your class Game of Thrones style or less extreme in a 5 kingdoms relationship exploration. Discuss kingdom boundaries and what is fair. (Does fairness matter within empires?) Is free trade necessary? Conduct a kingdom census of humans, villagers, and animals after the boundaries are established. tax the poor? Tax all kingdoms as emperor? Force some Minecraftians to move to another realm and see what that feels like. Who is the student who chooses to live in the desert instead of society? The learning and fun are endless with this 5 villages world! increase in value!
Seed of Success 9: 8178890028
The red planet! Grab your spacesuit covers and get ready to experience life on Mars. Build a giant biodome or separate living quarters and food/waste areas. Transform the land with the limited resources you brought in space crates! Do you teach language arts or a second language? Allow students to bring their stories about space exploration to life before their eyes. This seed is out of this world. Use boundary blocks to keep students in the Mars mindset.
Seed of Success 10: 1405054993
(8 villages)Rumor has it that there are 8 villages in this world. I found 5 in a short time. (See below) A fair division of your class would give groups of 3-4 students their own villages! Here's a tip from the teacher. Take some time to find these villages and place teleport blocks near each village so you can hop from village to village and teleport students to and from you as needed. These 8 villages have a healthy geography among themselves and equality of biomes. This would be a great SEED to see what groups of students can do in isolation to respond to the same challenge.
Seed of Success 11: 2052930197336800526
5 villages! A world of star geography with mesa, desert, forest, mountain and grassland elements. Some of these biomes are beautiful, while the deserts have buried temples and the central mountain has to be the best spot for a world-view mansion. Again, place teleport blocks in every village you find and enjoy the diversity of this biome. Consider dividing students into Hill People, Desert People, Mesa People, and Plains People for interesting experiences.
Seed of Success 12:-75541937
The last Seeds of Success Pack 1 found by Mark Grundel has students spawn near a series of small islands with scarce resources. This can be used to test students' survival skills and resourcefulness. Not much going on here, but we're sure to find out who can make lemonade out of lemons if life gives them this seed. Gift students raw materials and see if they can figure out how to shape their path to successful living in isolation. Don't worry about them until they draw a face on a volleyball and call it WILSON!!!!!! (From Cast Away by Tom Hanks)
I hope these SEED ideas and resources help you get started as a busy teacher looking to maximize the potential of Minecraft in the classroom. I will add more of these as soon as possible.
